The following authors will be coming to Piraeus this year...

Join us for the Piraeus Alumni Seminar Program!

At Piraeus, St. John’s College welcomes alumni back to the seminar table. Held on both campuses and led by tutors, Piraeus seminars provide an opportunity to relive the rigorous classroom experience over the course of a leisurely weekend. Named for the port city that served Athens, Piraeus brings alumni from all career paths and geographical areas back to their educational roots. Said Thucydides of ancient Piraeus, "From all the lands, everything enters.” In that spirit, we invite you to bring your voice back to the seminar table and share in the reflection, discussion, and community that Piraeus offers.

Our 2016 offerings include seminars in Annapolis, June 9-12, on Fitzgerald's Tender Is the Night and Keat's "Ode to a Nightingale" with Eva Brann H89 and Lise van Boxel, and Anna Karenina with Tom May and David Townsend. In Santa Fe, August 5-7, Grant Franks A77 will lead seminars on Joyce's Dubliners

Introducing IntroMaps, an alumni networking portal

Sample Contact Details in IntroMapsSt. John’s College and the St. John’s College Alumni Association are pleased to announce IntroMaps, a new alumni networking tool that will help you more easily connect with alumni in your area and around the globe. Over 2,000 of your fellow Johnnies have already completed the registration process in just the first two months since launch, and it’s proving to be a great way to connect.

Whether you move to a new town or travel for business, IntroMaps will make it simple and convenient for you to connect with Johnnies wherever you are using your computer or smartphone. The application has the look and feel of Google Maps, coupled with the networking capabilities of LinkedIn. You can also use IntroMaps to search for and network with alumni who share common career interests or general life interests. Click here for more, including a video introduction from Phelosha Collaros SF00, president of the Alumni Association.
