St. John’s College Community Seminar at Great Hearts

Over the course of three sessions at Great Hearts, St. John’s College Annapolis President Pano Kanelos and Santa Fe Associate Dean of the Graduate Institute David McDonald will co-lead a seminar on Morality and the Literary Imagination. The seminars will treat works from Flannery O’Connor, William Shakespeare, and Herman Melville.

Friday, May 4

5:30–7 p.m. | Seminar Session on O’Connor, "A Good Man is Hard to Find"
7–8:30 p.m. | Seminar Dinner

Saturday, May 5

10–11:30 a.m. | Seminar Session on Shakespeare, Measure for Measure
11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. | Lunch Break
1–2:30 p.m. | Seminar Session on Melville, "Bartleby"

Parking for this event is along the south curb of the building, and entry is through the south gate into the courtyard.

Cost: $125. Seminar materials will be made available for participants. Dinner on May 4 will be provided and is included in the registration fee. There will be a lunch break on May 5 and participants are invited to bring their own lunch or dine at a convenient restaurant.
